Platinum 9.24 Carat Opal Pendant w/Diamonds Lab-Created Sapphires (#J7393) Platinum Australian opal and diamond pendant with calibre cut synthetic and glass blue lab-created sapphire accents. Repurposed from a watch, the crystal was replaced by a custom cut solid genuine earth mined Australian opal weighing 9.24 carats. The opal has primarily blue-green play of color. The case has been tacked closed and is hand engraved. There are sixteen small round cut diamonds that measure about 1.5mm. The pendant measures 1 3/8" long with bail and 5/8" wide. The pendant weighs 4.43 dwt., and dates from about 1900 with a new bail and opal. Amazing piece! The chain in some of the photographs is just an example and sold separately.
