Original 1944 Lawson Wood advertising blotter featuring his signature humorous monkey characters ? printed by Brown Bigelow of St. Paul, Minnesota, for Western Waterproofing Co.
The colorful illustration, titled ?Out on a Limb,? shows Santa-clad chimps in a winter mishap, a perfect example of Lawson Wood?s famous anthropomorphic humor. The blotter includes a December 1944 calendar and vintage ad copy promoting Resto-Crete and Ironite products.
