Mola Throw Pillow 16 x 11 Parrots Birds Sham and 50 similar items

What are these birds up to?? Flirting? Gossiping? Vintage throw pillow of Guna mola depicting two colorful parrots on a black ground, highlighted with embroidery and finished with rust-colored piping. This cut-work is a traditional textile art handmade by the Kuna (or Guna) Indians of the San Blas Islands, off the coast of Panama. Zips along one side, see last photo. Measures 16 x 11 x 4 inches. The pillow inside isn't particularly nice, but it is plump and it is the correct size for this cover... I washed the cover, which meant I had to re-stitch the placket after re-stuffing it. It does show some discoloration and fading when you look at it closely, mostly on the parrots, and the photos do not capture that well. Ships in a poly bag via your choice of service.
