I tested the playback with a betamax tape. It played and worked great. I'm not familiar with all of the features of the units but it plays, fast forwards, rewinds, pauses as it should. As with any vintage electronic I cannot guarantee that all of the features work. I do not know that last time they were serviced and would imagine that they could use a service. Includes the Sony hard briefcase as shown in the photos. See pictures for more details.
