Faithful to the 1950s style, this design includes an impedance matcher adjuster to improve detection and maximise the signal strength. Suitable for the radio enthusiast or to develop project skills, it's brand new and comes complete with components, tuner, fixtures, plywood board to mount everything on securely and generous instructions in a font size of 12 making it simple to construct. The coils are supplied with the kit pre wound meaning you don't have to wind them. Remember, it requires no cells since it is powered by the 10 metre nominal aerial wire supplied. it Is sensitive enough to bring in 3 to 4 stations at audible volume. More with an earthing connection as supplied. A pleasure to construct with a vintage look that captures a by gone era. Components are supplied in new polythene component bags.
