Descripción del Artículo
Jonathan Cloud - Jonathan Cloud / Stop and Think. Vigor VI-701 7" 45 rpm white label promotional record. This song was written by Jim Drown while he was stationed in Korea where he entertained the troops. He later became the leader of the New England rock group The Blend that recorded on MCA Records. The song was released circa late 1960s or early 70s. Condition: Record is close to NM. Comments: Lewiston, Maine vocalist/rocker Nick Knowlton made more than one stab at superstardom. This record, recorded at EAB Studios in Lewiston by Ed Boucher, was initially intended to be released in his own name with only the song title "Jonathan Cloud." Apparently there was some industry pressure for Nick to assume the actual identity of Jonathan Cloud. Although it has a definite 60s sound, it is possible it came out in the early 70s which would be another reason why it didn't particularly fly.
