Look at the backside, what looks like tape residue with red stripe is actually part of the protective piece that is covering the whole back, it can be peeled off. The crystal looks very nice, clean, clear. The watch band is a heavy rubber, sort of like a bungee strap type of rubber. It is clean and not broken.
