(6) Six Antique Cabinet Card Photographs. Includes two photos of Thomas F. Clarkin and his wife Myrtle E. Purton, one taken in a Boston studio and the other has "Madison, Maine" written on the back; a separate, younger photo of Thomas F. Clarkin was taken in Belfast, Maine; a photo of Margret (Margaret?) Clarkin is identified on the back as the sister of Thomas and was taken at a studio in Madison, Maine; and two identical photographs of two children of Thomas identified as Annie Meta Genera Clarkin and Thomas Earl Sedric Clarkin. They were taken by Fassett studio, but the location is not stated. A photocopy of the on-line genealogy used to help establish some of this information will be included with the purchase of these photographs. Condition: These are original photographs, not a copy or reproduction. They are in very good condition, with some soiling and wear marks, and a bend in one of the photos of Thomas and his wife. Comments: Additional on-line research reveals that Thomas F. Clarkin was born in 1880 and died in 1945. He is buried in Forest Hill Cemetery in Madison, Maine. His wife Myrtle E. Purton was born in 1881 and died in 1964. Regarding their children, Meta was born in 1905 and died in 1994; Thomas was born in 1906 and died in 1981; and a Everett F. Clarkin (not appearing in any of our photos) was born in 1916 and died in 1971.
