Vintage Carved Onyx Ash Trays Soap Dishes and similar items

Vintage carved onyx ash trays with siesta guys, Mexican southwestern style. They were used as shelf decor, never as intended. Since fewer and fewer people smoke cigarettes these days, these ash trays could be re-purposed as soap dishes in the bathroom or kitchen. You can order custom sized soap from Etsy craftsmen to fit in one of these reincarnated soap dishes. 1. Oval soap dish with a sitting siesta man. No cracks, a small chip on the back bottom of the base and a tiny chip in the back of the guy's hat, minor scratches. The figurine is glued to the base and is firmly attached. 5" X 3 3/8" X 3"H. A round soap of 2 3.8" in diameter will fit in the recess. 2. Square soap dish with a standing man. No cracks, small chipping at the side on the bottom. The figurine is firmly screwed to the base. The screw head is rusty. Scratches from use. Base is 4" X 4", height is 4". A diamond shaped pentagon recess has sides of 3", 3", 1 3/8", 1 3/8", 2 3/4". Note: we sell vintage items that were pre-owned and used. They may have signs of wear. This is not a defect but a natural character of a used product.
