Vintage, rare, HANDCRAFTED, Pure Black Onyx locket from mid 1950's. This piece was evaluated by a fine watch and clock shop in Belmont Shores, Long Beach, CA, 2015 and deemed "a fine, vintage, unique, rare piece, very well handcrafted." The locket was purchased by my German great-grandmother for my mother on her 16th birthday in Germany. The locket stone is pure black onyx, the locket and Fine English .835 point silver casing is handcrafted and Stamped. The stone in the middle of the Onyx is high quality 0.10 carat Austrian crystal. The locket holds two pictures, one on each side, however, the left side is missing the ring and glass picture cover to hold a picture on that side. The one on the right is still intact. LATCHES CLOSED SECURELY. A jeweler can replace the left one. Even with this piece missing, appraised at 350.00 plus. PLEASE SEE PICTURES, AS PICTURED. MILD SCRATCHES INSIDE LOCKET ON THE SILVER. NO CHIPS or stains. GREAT COLLECTOR'S ITEM.
