Vintage Ciners English Pewter Mug - Matching Set of 2 Viners Ltd. English Pewter, Sheffield, England. Matching tankards made between 1948-1960. In very good condition. Stand approx 5 inches with 3 1/2 inch "mouth" and 4 1/4 inch diameter base. These are NOT clear bottom but solid. You may notice that when polished they are gorgeous looking. Minor scratches and one almost unnoticeble "ding" (see photos) ; overall great condition. That term usually means they’ve inflated the shipping charge; this, in turn, marginalizes the bargain you thought you were getting. Please use caution when unwrapping glass items; best to unpack while over a bed or sofa. We offer prints made in the traditional way such as serigraphs, stone lithos etc. because they are limited as opposed to reproductions like digital art such as giclees. The grading system used by many sellers to describe their books can be, despite best efforts and intent, subjective and often disappointing. You’ll only find high quality material here: most are new or like new. Occasionally, there’s minor shelf wear or a publisher’s remainder mark, but the integrity of the book’s condition is unaltered.
