To do this: You can go to "Control Panel" - Administrative Tools - Computer management - Storage - Disk Management. Then find the hard drive that's not being initialized. Right click on the drive and select initialize. Once the drive is initialized, you will need to create a partition. When you finished, the system will format the drive and it will be come usable.
