Japanese Porcelain Samurai Warrior Story Vase Lamp Gold Gilding Vintage If you want a lamp that is colorful and intricately decorated and wired to modern standards this is one worthy of your consideration: elegant and graceful this elaborate hand painted vase -lamp features a Samurai warrior story around it with a liberal use of gold; converted to a lamp with a polarized cord ( probably in the 1960’s or 1970’s ). The date of the vase, however, is difficult to discern. It is embedded in a brass base that is adorned with with oriental figures. Lamp is 30" Tall ( to the brass filial). The vase is 11 inches in height and is 6 sided, and the width is 7 inches across. The glaze is sharp and bright. Colors are vivid. A beautiful aged piece. You’ll only find high quality material here: most are new or like new.
