The music box is the wind up type, and is on the bottom. The music plays perfectly, and the tune is Toyland. The bear is in good condition, there are no cracks, but there are a few small chips, in the hat, and at the corners of the block, and he is a little dusty. The bear is very nicely painted, and in finished in an eggshell glaze. The bear sits 5.5" tall, and is 4.25" to 4.5" in diameter at the base. He would make a great decoration to dress up a holiday shelf, or even under the tree.
