Six 6 Vintage Mid Century 1950s Alt Old and 50 similar items

This is a set of Six (6), VINTAGE, Marked, In The Original Plastic Case "Alt Old Berlin Motif Design Tamat Serie Series Drink Serving Coasters" made by Schuberth in West Germany in the early-1950s. Belonging to my friend's grandparents, these Black and White Coasters were used until the mid-1980s when they were packed away and forgotten about. Recently rediscovered, they have been safely and securely stored for over 25 years. Some of the Coaster are dirty and could use a good cleaning; the plastic lid has minor cracking but still fits tightly, holding securely. With age appropriate wear, they are in EXCELLENT Condition with NO rips, tears, dried cork, cracks, surface wear or other structural damage; they come from a smoke-free, pet-free home. Each Coaster measures approximately 3 7/8th inches square and is approximately 1/8th of an inch thick; the Bottoms are all Marked with a Blue-and-Gold Sticker that reads "Melamin-Qualitat - Schuberth - Tamat Serie - Made In W. Germany" and the bottom of the box is Marked "Schuberth - Tamat-Serie - Made In West Germany". Each Coaster features a beautiful black-and-white scene from Old Berlin (Alt Berlin). Featured are: Schloss Charlottenburg; Konigliches Schloss; Brandenburger Tor; Gendarmenmarkt; Konigs Kolonaden; and Universitat. These Coasters are VERY Nice and are FABULOUS for Serving Drinks when Entertaining. They are a classic example of mid-century, post World War II German craftsmanship.
