Belonging to my neighbor's Grandfather, this "Vintage Brass Enamel OFD'I InA Sons Of Italy Fraternal Award Lapel Pin Button Stud" was received in the early-1940s; the letters stand for the Italian Ordine Figli D'Italia in America which translates to the Order of the Sons of Italy In America. Upon his grandfathers death in 1982, my neighbor’s father received all his father's jewelry which was stored in a box in his closet. My friend’s father passed away in 2010 and he inherited the contents of his dad’s home, including this Italian Fraternal Pin. Getting ready to move to a smaller home, he has NO children and has asked me to sell this family heirloom; it comes from a smoke-free, pet-free home. With a diameter of approximately 1/2 inch, the Pin unscrews and is Marked inside. Please see Pictures - some enamel loss.
