Shaft with beads is 6? long, with end protector included. Hatpins were used extensively in days gone by to keep ladies' hats in place. Now, though some still use them, they are often collected as antiques or just a beautiful accent, displayed in special hatpin holders, flower vases, added to plants, or displayed in vintage hat collections.
