Descripción del Artículo

?????? FOR SALE: The World?s ? ONLY? Most Legendary Surf Skate CJ7 ? Inlet Charley?s Original Mascot ? Cartel Lore ? One-of-One Museum Piece ?????? This Jeep comes with several domain names and includes a website at www.carteljeep.com, where you can explore numerous photos and detailed history. The vehicle was owned by Charles Baldwin, a renowned pro surfer and the founder of CB Surfboards, serving as his personal legacy and advertising icon for his surfboard company, surf shop, and major international surfing competitions held in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, just steps from his Flagler Avenue shop. Check out the website for more photos and additional information, and feel free to reach out with any questions! ? Legends like Kelly Slater, Sunny Garcia, Tom Carroll, Tom Curren, Greg Geiselman, Evan Geiselman, Aaron Cormican, and Jeremy Johnston all carved up New Smyrna?s iconic waves while Inlet Charley?s was at its peak ? any one of them could have tossed a board in this CJ7, cruised the beach, or posted up next to it as the surf shop?s rolling mascot and beach shuttle for contests, team shoots, and East Coast surf culture at its best. Some Legends Never Die ? They Go Underground, They Get Painted in Stories, They Become Myth. This is THAT Jeep ? the 1977 CJ7 that sat proudly in front of Inlet Charley?s Surf Shop, the beating heart of New Smyrna Beach surf and skate culture from 1980 until Charley Baldwin sold it in 2004 to the global surf powerhouse Rip Curl. This Jeep is not just metal and rubber ? it?s a time machine. A rolling sculpture. A ghost of outlaw surf sessions, secret skate contests, and wild Florida beach drives. Then it vanished. People whispered about it for years. Nobody knew where it went. ? ? Hidden for a Decade in Cartel Country The rumors were true: a Sinaloa cartel member tucked it away in the dry desert mountains of Mexico ? untouchable by the DEA, hidden from the world, sealed up like a pirate?s treasure. Ten years later, the legend has reappeared ? exactly as it was. Murals intact, spirit intact, story bigger than ever. ? ? Art on Wheels ? A Museum of Surf Skate Forget boring trailer queens ? every inch of this CJ7 is hand-painted with raw, rebellious, airbrushed murals: ? Tiki gods, bikini-clad surf angels, broken skateboard kids crying on the curb ? Punk skater with a spiked mohawk ? Trench coat ?Skateboard Dealer? pushing boards like forbidden treasure ? Bikinis, barrels, forbidden beaches, and anti-skate signs that spit in the face of authority ?. Too many murals to list all hand airbrushed. ? Diamond plate armor on the rear corners, under the doors, every panel a canvas ? Bumper and roll bar painted to look like weathered driftwood ? pure surf shack soul ? ? Condition ? Original, Untouched, True Patina ? 1977 CJ7 ? true antique, blue antique plate eligible for cheaper insurance ? Floors redone in 2015 but aged perfectly ? you can?t tell where old ends and new begins ? Transmission and 4x4 were flawless when parked ? engine turns, not seized ? New battery ready to drop in, needs 2 radiator hoses and maybe a carb clean ? Tires hold air but one?s dry cracked ? you?ll want new ones but keep the vibe ? Back seat foam is shot, but who cares ? the story is worth more than leather ? Original stereo, no speakers ? this is your soundtrack for legends ? Chip in the windshield, peeling clear coat ? don?t repaint it! This is rolling art, not a trailer queen ? ? Undisputed Provenance ? Inlet Charley?s Forever ? Clear title in hand, old registration from my wife?s name to keep the feds away ? Hundreds of locals remember this Jeep as Inlet Charley?s mascot ? It drove miles of New Smyrna?s only legal drive-on beaches, surf comps, skate jams ? It?s the last relic of Charley Baldwin?s surf empire ? the shop is gone but this lives on ? ? Serious Value ? Once in a Lifetime ? This CJ7, with this history, this art, and this cartel backstory could break $250,000+ at the right auction ? Keep it for a few more years ? it?ll be a $1,000,000 museum piece for any collector who understands American surf skate history ? I?m only asking $120,000 cash ? priced for a fast flip to secure a home for my family. Not desperate ? this is a gift to the right buyer. Insult me with an offer and you?ll never own it, even for a million. ? ? Stored dry safe, one hour from San Diego border ? I can arrange secure transport across the border for $500 (your cost) ? Comes with the domain names mini-website that preserve its legend for the next chapter ? ? If you want the last piece of Inlet Charley?s Surf Shop history ? the rolling mascot of a surf generation, the Jeep kids begged to ride in, the Jeep that vanished into cartel country and survived ? this is it. ?? This is a legend you can park in your garage. ?The shipping will be paid by the buyer. Including the transportation costs to get it across the Mexican border. I will provide a clear title for it, and I will mail that to you registered certified mail. The shipping cost listed is only for the title and you will be responsible to pick it up or I can have it delivered to an address in San Diego of a shipping company of your choice but you will have to pay $500 additional to have the jeep delivered Across the border. I do not make any money off of this. This is what I actually have to pay to get it towed across the border. I am not currently in Mexico or San Diego There may be details. I have forgotten to mention, and this car has not started in 10 years, but I have 100% confidence that it is a running motor still because it was running perfectly when it was parked The floors were all replaced in 2015 so there are no holes in the floors and no damage to the frame. This is an amazing deal I am quickly putting it right now and will be listing it in Hemingway?s and bring a trailer so if you are interested, I would suggest that you buy it very very quickly before I listed on Hemmingway?s or bring a trailer because most of the big buyers are on there. I simply did not have time to do all of that tonight so I thought I would just list it here for extra publicity This Jeep is for sale as is where is. There will be no returns or discounts. You do not have to go to Mexico to pick up the jeep. It is approximately an hour and a half from San Diego but I will have it transported for you if you pay the $500 cost to get it across the border. Cashiers check or money order will work for payment. If you are very interested, and you would like to go see it I can arrange for you to go see it in person and you can also pay a mechanic to go over the entire vehicle for you. I have no problem with that. ? ? would not let me post any more photos, but I do have a lot more photos available upon request, including photos of the title, etc. The title is clear and has not been signed. It is ready to transfer into your name right now. This is also listed and qualified as an antique. If you do wish to change the windshield because of the crack you can purchase the very discount antique cars insurance for about $50 a year in the state of Florida and then report the windshield cracked and they will pay for you to get a brand new windshield I personally really like the look of the windshield and I would never replace it. ? ? ? Serious buyers only. ? Visits can be arranged. ? Full cash only. ?? Once it crosses the border, it?s yours ? but only if you respect the legend. ? #Hashtags #CJ7 #InletCharleys #SurfShopMascot #SurfHistory #SkateHistory #CartelLegend #ClassicJeep #SurfSkateJeep #NewSmyrnaBeach #FloridaSurf #RareFind #OneOfOne #SurfIcon #SkateboardCulture #Vintage4x4 #CollectibleJeep #BarnFind #Patina #ClassicCarSale ? ?????
