1985 Photo Vintage Postcard QSL Card Canada Rapid transit VE7FYL This full color historically significant photo postcard is of the "new" Vancouver Canada Rapid Transit system only finished a couple of weeks prior to the date this postcard was sent in 1986. Sent from Lynda Schiere, who was surprised by the QSO as she had been off the air for a year. (corresponds to the handwritten date on this postcard of Jan 16, 1985). The photo of the transit system is shown at "Stadium Station", the gate to the May-October Expo '86 in Vancouver British Columbia. Features a clear 39 cent Settle-bed Canadian postage stamp and postal mark that is not smudged, although partially obscured by the "Expo 68" logo. CONDITION: No pin holes, rips, tears or smudges.
