Everything does move with the power of the 4C batteries in the coal car. The batteries are not included in this buy. The engine roof shows some small scratches from use. Should be able to see that in the pictures I have provided. Inside of the coal car Where the batteries are located is nice and clean. The reindeer do move as it runs on a track.
