Plate and spacers are manufactured from high quality 3/8? thick AR500 steel plate made in the USA. Steel plate protects studded t-post fence posts from direct impact adding life and durability to the t-post for several years. These products are precision cut with a CNC plasma cutter and submersion water cooled during the cutting process ensuring the longest life. Our simple and easy to install design takes just a few minutes to attach to any studded t-post and is compatible with any of our hangers/gongs mounted with a 3/8" AR500 T-Post Hook or Spring T-Post Mount. For installation, insert one carriage bolt into each square hole of the protector plate. Next, add one spacer on the back side and press against the studded t-post at desired height. On the back side of the t-post, slide the second spacer over the bolts. Lastly thread on and tighten down both lock nuts until the plate is tight and secure.
