Uncertain as to the year they are from, there are two sizes here. There are 5 of the larger ones and 4 of the smaller ones. Each button reads "ATLANTIC CITY NEW JERSEY FD" on the front while the backs vary a bit. LARGER BUTTONS: Measures 7/8", these buttons read "Superior Quality" on the backside. They are domed and have a loop on the back for sewing. SMALLER BUTTONS: Measures 9/16", these buttons vary a bit on the writing on the back. 1 reads "Waterbury Button Co." 2 read "Superior Quality". And the last one reads "Waterbury B. Co. AA Quality". While the exact year of manufacture remains unknown, the timeless appeal of these brass buttons is evident, offering a tangible connection to the rich heritage of fire departments across the nation. CONDITION: These buttons are in pre-owned and vintage used condition. One of the larger buttons has more finish wear than the others.
