This extended aluminium seatpost is approx 100 grams lighter than the Brompton's standard steel seatpost and Pentaclip and 50mm longer than a standard seatpost. This is not only an elegant solution, but also save a lot of weight compared to Brompton's Pentaclip solution. The seatpost is flared at the bottom, like the original Brompton seatpost. Recommended rider weight limit of 80 kg. Recommended maximum rail clamp torque of 5 Nm. The seatpost consist of a titanium post, a connecting rod, two yokes, two 5mm bolts and a rail support cradle.
