Early 20th Century, Germany A rare and authentic piece of mining history, this antique carbide miner?s lamp was manufactured by the renowned German company Friedrich Pieper Co. (PLECO trademark), based in Letmathe, Germany. Dating from the early 1900s to the 1930s, this lamp features a solid metal body, separate water and carbide reservoirs, and an original reflector. It remains in very good condition for its age, with an attractive, naturally aged patina and all key components present (please refer to the photos for details). PLECO lamps were widely respected for their durability and reliability in the demanding conditions of early 20th-century mining.
