No paying for the heavy duty plastic bags that are easily forgotten when going to the store and end up accumulating somewhere in your house or garage. Since the bag is 100% cotton it can be washed and dried in the laundry and it will not stretch. The main body of the bag is 12 inches wide and 16 inches deep. The opening of the bag is approximately 11 inches. This gives you approximately 1.6 cubic feet of room. The straps are are 11 inches long so the bag can be put over your shoulder, if desired. They are 1 inch wide so as to hold weight and not dig into your shoulder. Bag can be carried by hand.
