Descripción del Artículo

? The avocado 'Stewart' grafted plant comes in a primo size of 18-36 inches tall. It thrives with 8 or more hours of direct sunlight daily and will grow to 25-35 feet at maturity. This variety is not recommended for container planting. Hardy to 20 degrees Fahrenheit, it requires protection when temperatures drop below this. The Stewart avocado produces yellow-fleshed fruit with a rich, nutty flavor and slight green edging. ? One of the most cold-resistant varieties, this Mexican avocado bears pear-shaped fruit with smooth, thin, dark skin. The strong, spreading tree produces 6-10 ounce fruit in late fall and early winter. Believed to be a Mexicola seedling, it's grafted onto Mexican seedling rootstock and classified as type A. While self-fruitful in cooler climates, planting near type B avocado trees or bee-friendly flowers can improve yield. ? Avocado flowers transition between male and female phases daily, allowing single trees to bear fruit in mild climates. The type A and B classifications refer to flowering patterns rather than separate genders. Plants are generally sent from the United States with tracking. Dispatching occurs January through April. Cannot send to certain locations, so please inquire if unsure. ? Your order will arrive in good condition. If any issues occur upon receiving order, contact us the same day with a detailed description and photos so we can assist you.
