With Dr. Oetker Gelfix Extra 2:1, you can make extra fruity jams, marmalades, and jellies. Delicious! - HOW TO: Wash, deseed, or pit the fruit. Weigh out 1000g, chop into small pieces, or puree. Or measure 750ml of fruit juice. Boil jars and twist-off lids or rinse with very hot water. Mix 1 sachet of Gelfix with sugar, stir in the fruit/fruit juice in a large saucepan, and bring to a boil while stirring. Boil gently for at least 3 minutes, stirring continuously. Conduct a setting test*. Skim the fruit mixture if necessary and immediately fill jars to the brim. Cover with lids, turn upside down immediately, and let stand on the lids for about 5 minutes. TIPS: - *Setting test: Pour 1-2 teaspoons of the hot mixture onto a plate.
