Descripción del Artículo
Fantastic Four, by stan Lee, Marvel Comic Group: Vol.1, No. 212, November 1979 and No. 213,December 1979.
Vol.1, No, 212, November 1979. "Battle of the Titans!"
The Watcher reflects on the chain of events that began when Adora brought the Fantastic Four into the Xandarian-Skrull war, leading to their capture, exposure to an aging ray, and eventual escape and alliance with the Champions of Xandar—only to be disrupted by the Sphinx absorbing the Xandarian Worldmind and fleeing to Earth. As Galactus and his herald Terrax arrive to confront the Sphinx in Egypt, Reed Richards races to save Sue from the aging effects while Skrull-X reactivates and plots Earth’s downfall. Meanwhile, the Sphinx, now supremely powerful, defeats Terrax and reshapes the desert into his paradise, just as Galactus arrives for a final confrontation, leaving the fate of Earth hanging in the balance.
Vol.1, No. 213. December 1979: " In Final Battle !"
Aboard Galactus' ship, the Fantastic Four battle Terrax, but Reed and Ben are weakened by a Skrull aging ray, leaving Johnny to freeze Terrax using a burst cooling pipe, while H.E.R.B.I.E. mysteriously retrieves the Thing. Meanwhile in Egypt, Galactus defeats the Sphinx, destroys the Ka Stone, and condemns him to an eternal time loop of his own life, rejecting Sayge’s offer to see his fate. With the Sphinx gone, Reed bluffs Galactus with a fake Ultimate Nullifier, aided secretly by the Watcher’s interference, causing Galactus to retreat, though he warns of a future return — just as Reed collapses, possibly dying from the effects of the aging ray.
