The cockpit is glued shut. The landing gear is fixed in the extended position. This plastic model is mostly assembled and painted. There is some minor assembly required. The propeller blades need to be attached to the main rotor. The attachment does not need glue but the pieces are very small and fragile and patience and a level of dexterity is needed. The fitting of the parts are held in place by friction alone but depending on the particular model, one might need to add a tiny smear of glue to hold pieces in place or on the other hand, sand/scrape some material make pieces fit. The Kamov Ka-50 "Black Shark", NATO reporting name Hokum A, is a Soviet/Russian single-seat attack helicopter with the distinctive coaxial rotor system of the Kamov design bureau. It was designed in the 1980s and adopted for service in the Russian army in 1995. The Ka-50 is manufactured by the Progress company in Arsenyev. It is used as a heavily armed scout helicopter and has a rescue ejection system, rare for helicopters.
