Unique! and interesting lidded Chinese ceramic box with a big foo dog on lid serving as the handle. Some areas on the box are glazed, while other areas are unglazed with a textured finish. It is a mustard yellow with a mix of blue, green and brown. Chinese writing is prominent on front, back and ends of box...and is written in black with red Chinese marks in the background. Slightly raised with four small feet. Light crazing to interior, bottom and underneath lid. Otherwise excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Measures approx. 11" high with lid, 5.5" high w/o lid, 9.75" long x 5" deep Marked "Hand Painted" with a Logo and "Pacific Rim, Made in China."
