Descripción del Artículo
DOES NOT INCLUDE the Boombox, this is the cassette motor only for repair purposes! This motor will replace the original PN1-541-231-00 motor EG-500AD-9F. I did the repair on my Sony CFS 3300, but Sony used the same motor on other models.
I was repairing a squeaky motor on mine that is shown in the photos and realized that the G-500AD-9F motor was really expensive. After some research I discovered that they later made with a motor that is smaller in diameter, however the screw holes match perfectly. This motor is also the exact same speed as the original motor, so I didn't even have to adjust anything. The other motor is cost prohibitive, so this is the perfect way to get your boombox running like new again!
I am selling this because I had to purchase two of them, but only needed one since it was a single head cassette deck! You only need two motors when you have dual cassettes.
Note: You will remove the metal center guide for the belt from the old motor and use it on the new one. I had to put a little piece of tape over the top when I pushed it on to keep it from sliding around, but as you see in the video, it works perfectly!
