It's an assembly line left-over. It has four buttons on it: Lock, Unlock, Trunk, and Panic. It is not for vehicles equipped with Push-To-Start proximity keys. These originally came with the lock cylinders, since they were destined for vehicles on the assembly line. However, the fobs are the most desirable part, so we separate them out and remove the cut key. (It was cut for the cylinder it was originally paired with, so it would be of no use to you.) You will need to swap your blade into it. This is easily accomplished by driving out the pin on the blade housing with a 1/16th punch. If you do not have a blade and want a blank one inserted for your locksmith to cut, message us. We can probably set a listing up for you. As with many vehicle parts, there are multiple versions that sometimes look the same or similar. To ensure you can use these, please make sure your current remote FCC ID number matches what we have listed here. Programming of this remote will be required. This is generally performed at a dealer but some locksmiths or auto repair shops may be equipped to do it as well. We cannot provide information on this process or a price quote. That will have to come from the shop actually doing the programming. Not doing research on that process ahead of time does not make this item not usable or defective.
