I recommend reading some reviews before deciding if this is right for you. It is an old program and is very home-user oriented and old-school in its approach. If that suits your preferences and having a broad range of tools in one package appeals to you it might be a good fit. The bundled photo elements range from versatile to cringeworthy to nightmare fuel. It is worth noting that the executibles are 32-bit and in researching it I have seen reports of memory management/crashing issues in this particular version. On a 64-bit system, applying a 4 GB patch to the executables may help with this, especially if you plan to work with large files. I also read reviews that complained of difficulty getting the installer to accept the activation key. I tested this out by installing one myself and found that installation wouldn't progress until I entered both a name and company name along with the key, an unusual requirement, particularly for such a home-user/novice-oriented product.
