This is a very old hand carved Chinese wooden sculpture of Shou Hsing (The God of Longevity). Amazing condition for its age. This high quality sculpture is carved with exquisite detailing throughout depicting the long bearded god standing on a square base holding a figural staff. It is done out of a dense piece of wood, is a fairly heavy piece for its size, and has acquired a lovely patina from age.
