ORANGE WOODS original hand printed zinc plate aquatint etching with relief printed chine colle. Image depicts a scene along one of the hiking trails in Western Pennsylvania's Laurel Highlands. Plate size is approximately 4" x 6"; printed in Sepia ink on on relief printed rice paper chine colle on white etching paper, print is signed by the artist in pencil; print is unframed and unmatted.
I am a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh and have taught printmaking and papermaking at Pittsburgh Center for the Arts for over 25 years. I've also taught at Seton Hill University, Carnegie Mellon University pre-college program, Carnegie Museum of Pittsburgh, and have lectured and given demonstrations at museums,schools, and arts groups throughout Western Pennsylvania. I've exhibited widely throughout Pennsylvania, and my work has also been in national shows in Ohio, Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, Illinois, Indiana, Texas and Nebraska.
