The band, originally from Wasilla, Alaska, later relocated to Portland, Oregon. Their unique sound blends neo-psychedelic indie rock with dance, R B, hip-hop, and electronic elements. They built a loyal fan base through independent releases and their strong online presence before signing with Atlantic Records in 2010. Portugal. The Man gained widespread recognition with Woodstock (2017), which featured the Grammy-winning Top 40 hit "Feel It Still." They have collaborated with major producers like Danger Mouse and Mike D from Beastie Boys, continually evolving their sound while maintaining their eclectic musical identity. Never used.
