This stunning transferware collector?s plate features a legendary scene from the Robin Hood tales?Friar Tuck preparing to baptize Robin in a rather unconventional manner. Crafted using traditional transfer printing techniques, this piece captures the artistry of historical English pottery.
Originating in Stoke-on-Trent, England, it was hand-engraved into copper by the renowned master engraver W. Nicholas Mellor, then expertly transferred onto high-quality ceramic. A must-have for lovers of history, folklore, and fine craftsmanship.
