The capsules help dissolve or break-up gallstones. Gallstones form when there is too much cholesterol in the bile. Bile is a substance produced by the liver to aid the digestion of fat. It is stored in the gall bladder. Rowachol capsules increase the solubility of cholesterol in the bile, which helps to dissolve gallstones. Rowachol capsules also reduce the production of cholesterol by the liver. Lowering the levels of cholesterol in the bile may help existing gallstones to dissolve and prevent further stones from forming. Rowachol capsules also increase bile production and relax the bile ducts. This helps reduce painful spasms of the bile ducts.
