Descripción del Artículo

Antique Real Photo Postcard. Identified as a Stoney Native American Indian and his wife standing outside their teepee. Published by Byron Harmon, Banff, Canada. Card #506. Divided back, unused. Condition: This is an original photo postcard, not a copy or reproduction. It is in excellent condition. Comments: The Nakoda (also known as Stoney, or Stoney Nakoda) are an Indigenous people in Western Canada and the United States. Their territory used to be large parts of what is now Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Montana, but their reserves are now in Alberta and in Saskatchewan. They refer to themselves in their language as Nakoda, meaning friend or ally.
