This vintage set is stamped Japan on the bottom. Style known for hand painted details with oils, the detailing shows leaves, stems, red berries and "bamboo" effect handles. Sugar bowl measures 5.5" handle to handle x 2.75" diam x 4.25" tall with lid. Creamer measures 4.75" tip of spout to handle X 2.25" diam x X 3.25" tall. Both pieces have a thin gold trim at top edge. Small amount of paint loss notably on sugar bowl consistent with age and use. Creamer has a hairline crack starting at top edge-less than .25 " long.
