US double-sided one-sheet poster from the smash 2000's remake of the classic Broadway-themed musical crime comedy, THE PRODUCERS, released in 2005 by Universal Pictures and directed by Susan Stroman. In this remake of the classic 1967 version written and directed by Mel Brooks, after putting together another Broadway flop, down-on-his-luck Producer Max Bialystock (Nathan Lane) teams up with timid accountant, Leo Bloom (Matthew Broderick), in a get-rich-quick scheme to put on the world's worst show...only to have it become a huge hit! The cast includes Uma Thurman, Will Ferrell, Gary Beach, Roger Bart, Eileen Essell, Michael McKean, Debra Monk, and Andrea Martin. This double-sided one-sheet poster was issued for display inside of a light box at theaters. Unrestored and rolled as originally issued, it is in very fine- condition with some small scattered creases from handling over time and a few random signs of wear along the edges. There are no pinholes, tears, stains, or other flaws and the rich color tints are fresh and vibrant without any signs of fading. The Producers was nominated for four Golden Globe awards.
