The color is outstanding in this marquise Amethyst 14K and diamond ring. Deep purple with a ribbed wave like setting in solid yellow gold. The diamonds are tiny but add some sparkle and compliment the main stone. In a size 7 and weighs 2.3 grams. It has a maker's mark but I can't make it out, also stamped 14K. The Amethyst measures 10 x 5 mm and the stone and gold has been tested for accuracy. February birthstone but perfect for purple lovers too! Beautiful on the hand.
