Vintage carved onyx ash trays with siesta guys, Mexican southwestern style. They were used as shelf decor, never as intended. Since fewer and fewer people smoke cigarettes these days, these ash trays could be re-purposed as soap dishes in the bathroom or kitchen. No cracks, a small chip on the back bottom of the base and a tiny chip in the back of the guy's hat, minor scratches. The figurine is glued to the base and is firmly attached. 5" X 3 3/8" X 3"H. A round soap of 2 3.8" in diameter will fit in the recess. 2. Square soap dish with a standing man. No cracks, small chipping at the side on the bottom. The figurine is firmly screwed to the base. The screw head is rusty. Scratches from use. Base is 4" X 4", height is 4". A diamond shaped pentagon recess has sides of 3", 3", 1 3/8", 1 3/8", 2 3/4".
