Whirlwind W3IRP Inline W3 122 Pin MASS Connector System with Strain Relief Made in USA The rugged metal shell protects against moisture and physical abuse. The hermaphroditic design eliminates stocking and logistical problems encountered with male/female connector systems by reducing the number of required parts. All MASS connectors include a heavy-duty dust cap. Inlines also include strain relief. The Whirlwind W3RP is a 122 contact version of the virtually indestructible whirlwind Mass Connector. This new design uses crimptype, replaceable pins and sockets. Like all Mass connectors, theW3RP has equal numbers of both pins and sockets within the resilientrubber insert. This arrangement allows two identical contact inserts tomate, requiring only a panel mount or inline housing to complete theassembly. Housings are made from machined aluminum and thethreaded locking ring ensures positive connection even underadverse conditions.
