Forest also did a live local radio presentation weekly, “History is Our Story,” for several years, bringing stories from our past to an eager listening audience. Society author of 10 books on Mifflin County’s heritage and history; 25 years editor of “Notes from Monument Square,” the Society newsletter and for the past twenty years, creative design and layout for the Society’s annual “Picture the Past Calendar,” given by the Society to all Mifflin County fourth grade students at no cost to the schools.
