Beautiful hand painted Russian Lacquer Box by the talented artist Shenshina. She is a graduate of the Fedoskino School of Lacquer miniatures.The subject of this lacquer box is that of a rabbit sipping some tea as he passes the time. Througout the whole piece she has incorported real beautiful designs of items like handmade cards, real pearls, a handcrafted clock all these additional pieces and the box itself is made from compressed papier mache. She also inside the lid of the box has featued a beautiful rustic design. The size of the box is 4.25 inches tall by 3 inches wide ( 11 x 8 cm). The box is signed by her on the inside lid of the box.
