This definitely fit the bill.The table is made of concrete and is heavy! It looks like wood, painted well, and looks really good overall. It is difficult to move once put together. Plays fine but you just hear a bit of an empty ?dong? sound every time the ball hits since it?s concrete as opposed to wood. The net is metal and easy to take off and put on. If you leave it out in the sun, the concrete also gets really hot so you need to keep it covered.I didn?t get a chance to put together the table for a couple of months after I bought it since we were doing some construction in the backyard, when I put together I noticed a corner of the table was chipped and you could see just the gray concrete. I was way over the return window, so called Joola?s customer support and they sent me a brand new side of the table within days. The table is heavy and needed freight shopping, so not cheap to do. We've only had it a few weeks and use it almost daily to play ping pong and have had a few dinners on it as well. Very heavy and sturdy. Definitely happy with it so far! I always ask guests what they think it is made out of and even after dinning on it people think it is real wood. It is made of concrete. I do not know how the paint will weather the winter but I expect it will remain looking sharp for years. Looks and feels very high quality. We love it both for playing ping pong and for outdoor dining.The table is heavy, close to 400 lb total weight. The assembly instructions are clear. I assembled it in about an hour with the help of my teenage daughter. During assembly I did not have to lift anything over 150 lb. After the table is assembled it is hard to move-- I think to move it without running the risk of damaging the table or your back one needs four people but to assemble the table two people is enough. At the last stage of assembly the table top is on the ground, so the last thing you do is flipping the table. When flipping the table one needs to apply the force that is less than half the weight of the table so two people can do it even if they are not very strong.
