'Russell Von Sauers was an automotive illustrator for Motor Trend, Hemmings and Popular Mechanics, among others - his work was created using artist board with numerous pieces of tracing paper taped to it; those papers represent layers of the pencil sketches that became the car's final ink-on-vellum piece and subsequently featured in automotive enthusiast magazines...'
