Arthur Griffin is remembered as a successful photographer for the Boston Globe and a New England photojournalist for Life and Time magazines. Griffin was a pioneer in the use of color film, providing the first color photos to appear in the Saturday Evening Post. His work captures the essence and vibrancy of mid-20th century New England.
Here is a large vintage book featuring 44 photos of some of New England's most beautiful views. Each photograph is accompanied by a well-known writer's musings about that particular scene. These photos are removable and frameable. A total 104 pristine pages. Very good vintage condition, binding is tight. Measures - 13 1/4" Long - 10" Wide - 1" Thick. Photos by Arthur Griffin a professional photographer for many well-known publications. There are 47 featured authors including; Norman Rockwell, Faith Baldwin, Benjamin Rice, Haydn Pearson, Elizabeth Yates and may more.
