Kenwood SC-75 AV Surround Processor Dolby and similar items

I do not have the manual so flying blind here but this is what we tested and observed: Connected audio out from a blu ray player RCA jacks to the line in jacks Connected 2 speakers to speaker jacks. Connected line out to a TV audio input We found the surround speakers played sound when STADIUM button was engaged and was able to control their volume via VOLUME knob and CALIBRATION LEVEL Knobs Sound from speakers did NOT play when THEATER, or SURROUND Buttons were engaged. The TV (connected to audio out) always played sound (guessing just a pass through?) We also tried connecting TV audio to PRE OUTPUT and heard nothing from that jack. So at a minimum, the built in amp works and the Stadium button engages them and the internal amplifier. Seems Theater and surround buttons not working or maybe looking for special dolby encoded input signal??? Seems the pre-output does not have any sound? or related to above? SO, hopefully you know more about this than we, and can tell from this description if it will meet your needs. Sold as is as described.
